    Presented is a great pair of antique Scottish sterling silver tongs. These tongs are dated 1834. The tongs are made in a classic Fiddle Shell pattern, with shell-form tips. The tongs have a monogram of AM on the back.
    This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    This piece is hallmarked with the lion rampant for sterling silver, the fish and tree mark for the city of Glasgow, the date letter P for 1834, the duty stamp of King George IV's head, and the maker's mark TK.
    The tongs are about 5 7/8 inches long.
