Antique 19thC 2-Piece AMES SWORD CO BELT BUCKLE * IP INDIANAPOLIS POLICE
From the archives of MC Lilley (merged with Ames), this listing is for an unfinished 2-piece Ames belt buckle that may be from the Indianapolis Police Department.  The buckle is cast brass and the center has a large IP.  The maximum dimensions are approximately 2” x 2 ¾”.  The condition is Excellent to Near Mint.  The buckle is unfinished meaning it needs an adjustment so the 2 pieces fit perfectly snug and it also would have been buffed at the factory.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other listings.  Free shipping is included for USA buyers.
