    INCREDIBLE large Victorian cameo pendant / brooch! This piece is exquisite! No flaws in the shell, super large! Featuring a lovely Roman Woman right facing with flower, leaf and grapes adorned in her hair with loose curls falling down. She's wearing a draped toga off her shoulders. This piece is substantial in size! 2 1/4" long (3" if measuring from nail), 2" wide and 26.47 grams in weight. On the bail is hallmarked a word but I can't make it out, I believe it's French. The bar pin has been replaced and a new one soldered on. The metal is gold plated and shows some gold loss. Has a beaded frame and some inside scroll work on the frame around the cameo. Dated 1880-1889. A lovely Victorian treasure! Please let me know if you require more pictures and I can send them to you!
