Aurora 88 a timeless legend a great writing classic. Designed by the famous Marcelo Nizzoli this legendary cult pen from the 50s is back. It is the symbol of a manufacturing process still tied to various craftsman phases as well as to the most leading edge technology.
To emphasize the handcrafted quality of this writing instrument, Aurora's nib master Filippo Loghero certifies the calligraphy nib installed on this pen. Nicknamed the "Goccia" nib (translates to "drop" in Italian), a ball of iridium is fused to the 14kt gold nib and shaped to provide a unique and pleasurable writing experience. The nib provides line variation with a thinner vertical stroke and a thicker horizontal one. The thickness in line is increased as the angle of the nib to paper becomes more acute.
