Magnetic Clasp Converter

Made with a
STRONG
Magnetic Clasp.
NOT to be used with a Pacemaker or other medical devices that can be affected by magnetic fields!
Magnetic Clasp options noted as "Mag-Lok" are GENUINE Mag-Lok brand clasps (made in the USA).
The clasp should be opened by
sliding
the two halves past each other; please do NOT "pull" it open.

Split Rings
will be used to attach the components to each other (for more strength and security than a jump ring).
The drop-down menus above are used to select the
color/size of the magnetic clasp

what is added to each end
. The color/metal type of the magnetic clasp will dictate the color/metal type of the other components.
To use this converter with one of my extender chains (including ribbon chokers), a Lobster Clasp (or Spring Ring Clasp) must be selected for the end that will be attached to the chain.

Split Ring

Split Ring
(also called a "double ring") works like a tiny key ring. Since a Split Ring cannot be easily pulled open like a jump ring, the converter will be more secure than if a standard jump ring would be used.
This option can be used when the converter is meant to be a permanent part of a custom-made-to-order necklace or bracelet that comes with a Lobster Clasp (including cord necklaces and ribbon chokers) that you are purchasing with the same transaction. PLEASE NOTE that I cannot assume this is what you want, no matter how "obvious" it may seem; please include a note with your payment (or send me a message via "contact seller" immediately after paymet) to ensure you receive what you intended to purchase.
This is also an ideal option for customers who are making their own jewelry, and really only need the magnetic clasp itself.
In addition to being one option for the ends of the clasp/converter, Split Rings will be used to attach any of the clasps or eyelet tags that may be selected instead.
Lobster Clasp Option:
A
Lobster Clasp
will be used to attach that half of the magnetic clasp to an eyelet tag, ring, chain link, etc.
If the converter is to be used with one of my
extender chains
(including ribbon chokers and other jewelry with an extender chain built-in), a Lobster Clasp or Spring Ring Clasp will be necessary for the end that attaches to the chain.

Spring Ring Clasp Option:

Spring Ring Clasp
will be used to attach that half of the magnetic clasp to an eyelet tag, ring, chain link, etc.
If the converter is to be used with one of my
extender chains
(including ribbon chokers and other jewelry with an extender chain built-in), a Lobster Clasp or Spring Ring Clasp will be necessary for the end that attaches to the chain.
Spring Ring Clasps
are available for the
Sterling Silver
and
Gold Fill
versions, as a less expensive alternative to the Lobster Clasp option.

Eyelet Tag Option:
An
Eyelet Tag
will be used to attach that half of the magnetic clasp to a Lobster Clasp, Spring Ring Clasp or other similar style "trigger" clasp.
If you are trying to minimize the amount of length the converter adds to the jewelry, the Split Ring option can be used in place of the Eyelet Tag option.
NOTE: The size and shape of the Eyelet Tag varies by metal color.
