    JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!  FINEST QUALITY CARVING!   Antique master carved shell  PORTRAIT cameo brooch... rare FULL FACE...of a young maiden holding a flower and surrounded by flowers.  Wonderful carving...delicate detailed realistic features.  Crisp high relief carving. Naturally domed shell with good color contrast.  Quality mount heavy well made...low carat gold or heavy gold filled...weighs 17grams.  Old extended pin shaft hinged pin with old C-clasp.  Looks to be all original in amazing condition.  Few very light natural small internal stress lines...not cracks...when held to light.  Measures 2" (just barely)  x  1 1/2".
