Description

Muncie Pottery (Muncie IN 1919-39) made a variety of shapes in both matte & gloss, usually with an interesting two-tone drip glaze that made each piece unique.
This vase in a light bluish white over light blue matte glaze is 7-1/2 inches tall & about 4-1/4 inches wide at its widest point. The top rim is 3-3/4 inches in diameter & the base is 3-1/2 inches in diameter. There is no visible - at least to my eyes - impressed Muncie mark on the bottom, but the smeared glaze & the scratched-in shape number is distinctively Muncie. It is in very good condition with no chips, hairlines, or crazing.
