Old Muncie Art Pottery Green Over Lilac 12in Bowl, Shape #187, 'MUNCIE', '3A'

Description

This item is an old ca. 1920's Muncie Art Pottery green over lilac drip glazed 12 inch, shape #187 console bowl, with the bowl in excellent used condition. Bowl has some glaze flakes on the very bottom next to marks, as we are picturing, but there are no other flaws (see photos); perhaps glaze was nicked during original marking process. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines, no repairs.
Bowl measures 12 inches from end to end, it is about 7 inches in wide, it stands 4-1/4 inches tall, it  has a finisher mark of '3 A' on the bottom, and the MUNCIE impressed original mark, as we are showing in the photos.  Very heavy bowl, so check shipping details for USPS shipping costs. Muncie Pottery ceased production in ca. 1939, according to reference resources. US buyers to pay for USPS Priority Mail delivery.
