    Description

    Tiffany Japanesque Sterling Silver Bowl & Underplate - ,100 (Tri Cities).
    This item is a Japanesque sterling bowl and underplate. The bottom of the underplate shows the mark of Tiffany and Co. There is an inscription on the underplate that states "Scott Lord Smith from his grandfather & grandmother Everett K and Harriet W Smith October 22nd 1879". I'm unsure if the grandson is the Dr. Scott Lord Smith who attended Sara Roosevelt, mother of FDR. He was associated with Vassar Brothers Medical Center and practiced from 1909-1957 in New York.
    It's unpolished at this time and is a lovely piece of sterling.
    The weight is 20 oz.  Dimensions:  5 1/2 diameter for the bowl.  From bottom to top lip of bowl- approximately 3" tall.
